Ballot title

The ballot title for Question 3 was as follows:

Shall the City of Glendale be authorized to sell up to $9,900,000 general obligation bonds for landfill projects? The issuance of these bonds will result in a property tax increase sufficient to pay annual debt service on the bonds, unless the governing body provides for payment from other sources.

Ballot summary

The ballot summary for this measure was:

A “YES” vote shall authorize the City of Glendale governing body to issue and sell up to $9,900,000 of general obligation bonds of the City of Glendale to be repaid with secondary property taxes, unless the governing body provides for payment from other sources.

A “NO” vote shall not authorize the City of Glendale governing body to issue and sell such bonds of the City of Glendale.
