Gerardo Soto is the superintendent of the Harlandale Independent School District. Gallegos was appointed superintendent on December 30, 2019. Soto's previous career experience includes working as the district's executive director for maintenance and operations.[1]

Past superintendents

  • Samantha Gallegos was the interim superintendent of the Harlandale Independent School District. Gallegos was appointed interim superintendent on July 1, 2019. Gallegos' previous career experience includes working as the district's assistant superintendent of curriculum and instruction.[2]
  • Rey Madrigal was the superintendent of the Harlandale Independent School District from 2013 to 2019.[3] Madrigal's previous career experience included working as a teacher, principal, and assistant superintendent for operations.[4]
