Harold W. Burgess, Jr.
Harold W. Burgess, Jr. is a circuit court judge for the 12th Judicial Circuit in Virginia.[1] He was appointed to the court by former Governor Tim Kaine in June 2009.[2]
Education
Burgess received his undergraduate degree from the University of Richmond in 1968 and his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1972.[2][3]
Career
Burgess served as a judge on the 12th Judicial District Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court from 1996 until his appointment to the 12th Judicial Circuit in 2009. He was also previously a partner at the firm of Beddow, Marley, Burgess and Associates for twenty-two years.[2]
