I am a mother, a working professional, a volunteer in my community, and a graduate student. Educators have made a difference in every stage of my life and I want to use my skills to ensure that the potential of our students and the dedication of our staff are reflected in the performance of our schools. I am always listening and learning from lived experiences and data, and using that information to try to make the world around me a little bit better. I chose to raise my family in Quincy because of the warmth and support of this community. Every student in Quincy should have the opportunity to be their best here, because opportunity is what this community is all about.
  • Strong early education programs set the foundation and will be reflected throughout their academic careers
  • Proficiency results must reflect the potential of our students accurately
  • Parent advocacy and positive collaboration are critical to thriving educational communities
I am personally passionate about literacy, early childhood education and pathways to graduation, which should bookend a successful academic career. Ensuring that every student in our community has the benefit of a rigorous education that prepares them to be thoughtful, contributing civic participants is a personal passion. Those contributions can look many different ways, and it is our responsibility to ensure that all of our students have access to a variety of educational experiences.
