I am running for School Board because I believe our students deserve access to a high quality education and a safe learning environment. I believe schools play a critical role in the wellness of our community. When our schools thrive, our entire community thrives.

I was born and raised in Santa Ana and have lived in Area 5 my entire life. I am a proud product of the Santa Ana Unified School District and attended local public schools. After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Politics from the University of San Francisco, I moved back home to work directly with Santa Ana youth.

I believe in the power of education, and its ability to transform the lives of our students the same way it transformed mine. As someone who graduated from SAUSD schools in the past decade, I understand the issues facing our students, teachers, and parents.

As a School Board Member, I will prioritize the following: Creating safe schools Expanding mental health services Investing in workplace experience Empowering student and parent voices Nurturing a transparent budget process

  • Create Safe Schools for our entire community.
  • Expand mental health services across the district.
  • Empower the voices of our students and parents in decision making processes.
Investment in youth services and programs, expansion of mental health services, affordable housing, police accountability, access to jobs that pay a living wage.
