Henry J. Boroff
Henry J. Boroff wa a bankruptcy court judge for the United States bankruptcy court, District of Massachusetts.[1] He served as chief judge from December 2006 until December 2010. He retired from the court on July 15, 2016.[2][3]
Education
Judge Boroff received his undergraduate degree from Boston University and, in 1975, his J.D. from Boston University School of Law.[4]
Career
Boroff first practiced law in Boston with Friedman & Atherton. In 1981, he formed his own law firm, eventually called Boroff & Associates, where he focused on bankruptcy and business litigation. He has also lectured on bankruptcy and other topics for the Massachusetts Bar Association, Massachusetts state judiciary, the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Commercial Law League of America, the Volunteer Lawyers Service division of the Massachusetts Justice Project, Western New England College School of Law and Northwestern University Law School.[2]
