The Housing Act Oversight Committee is a non-permanent joint legislative committee of the Rhode Island State Legislature that no longer fell within Ballotpedia's coverage scope as of March 9, 2021.

Per the Senate and House Rules, joint committees of the Rhode Island General Assembly are appointed by the President of the Senate and by the Speaker of the House.[1] The Speaker and the Minority Leader are responsible for appointing minority membership on standing committees, subcommittees, joint committees, boards and commissions.[1]
