The Joint Legislative Services Committee is a permanent committee of the Rhode Island General Assembly.
Per the Senate and House Rules, joint committees of the Rhode Island General Assembly are appointed by the President of the Senate and by the Speaker of the House.[1] The Speaker and the Minority Leader are responsible for appointing minority membership on standing committees, subcommittees, joint committees, boards and commissions.[1]
