I am an educator, not a politician. I was born in Krakow, Poland. My family left the country when Eastern Europe was controlled by the Soviet Union. I have lived in San Antonio, Texas for most of my life. I studied hard and graduated from Texas A&M San Antonio with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. A dedicated and innovative communicator with a wealth of experience as a middle school/high school special education IA, educator, middle school interventionist, Algebra Teacher, Site Coordinator, Basketball Head Coach and Athletic Director. Current Digital Director for TenX Media. Former Co-Founder and Director of Workforce Development of A&E Consulting, I have extensive experience working with persons from a wide variety of backgrounds and cultures. I am a proven communicator and problem solver, and have success working with local government, adults and students, effectively communicating and problem solving with excellent results.
  • Renegotiate the Healthcare System and Benefits Package for NISD Teachers and staff. 95% of School Districts in the State of Texas saw their health insurance cost rise by about 7%. TRS ActiveCare 2 Premiums have increased by 12%. We need a better deal for our teachers and staff.
  • Emergency rooms have seen a 24% increase in mental health-related visits from children ages 5-11 compared to last year. The increase among older kids is even higher at 31%. Having kids wear a mask 8-10 hours a day, with very minimal social interactions, and increase schoolwork remotely has been major key factors. Let's safely relieve restrictions and allow more students safely to come back face to face.
  • Encourage Decision-Making That Includes Taxpayers And Teachers. Too many times the voices of the staff, students, and community have not been heard. Our voices matter and we should have that voice to be included in the decision making for our District.
My passion has always been education. I believe and know all children can have the future they want and I teach to make they can have those opportunities. As residents of District 5, we all have a strong commitment to our community including our schools. I know that many parents feel that once they drop off their children at school their involvement in their children’s education ends. I’m convinced it's time for all of us to work together and let your voice be heard. Increasing workforce development in addition to developing intellectual minds. Increase the number of workforce development courses.
We need to expand on vocational and civics classes into our high schools. Have an advisor help our students know what career paths they would like to pursue.
