James Hippard, Jr. was a 2014 candidate for the 270th District Court in Texas.[1]

Hippard ran for election to the 270th District Court.
Primary: He ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on March 4, 2014.
General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 44.7 percent of the vote. He competed against Brent Gamble. [1] 

Education

Hippard earned both his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Houston. He graduated with a J.D. in 1984.[2][3]

Career

Hippard opened his own law firm in 1991 and has since then worked as a trial lawyer. Since 1990 he has also taught as an adjunct professor at the University of Houston Law Center, Emory Law School in Atlanta and Loyola Law School in New Orleans.[2]
