|- Being raised in Berryessa and having gone to our Berryessa schools (Brooktree Elementary and Morrill Middle) and through the entire public school system as a queer first generation child of immigrants, I gained a key perspective in knowing what resources our students need to succeed and become leaders for our community.
- As a District Representative, assisting North San Jose, I have hands-on experience with collaborating with different levels of government through event planning and social work. As a liaison for North San Jose, I have also coordinated ways for Berryessa schools to receive state funding in collaboration with the school board.
- My top priority will be to foster student success by meeting students where they are at by providing afterschool programs and expanding mental health assistance.
