Two Jefferson School District Levy Renewal measures were on the March 6, 2012 ballot in the Jefferson school district area which is in Ashtabula County.

The first measure sought to renew the current school levy which was set at a rate of 1 mill for a further five years in order to continue to pay for buses and equipment as needed in the school district.

  • YES: 1,222 (54.77%) Approveda
  • NO: 1,009 (45.23%)

The second measure sought to renew the current school levy which was set at a rate of 1.5 mills for a further five years in order to continue to pay for improvement projects as needed in the school district.[1]

  • YES: 1,144 (51.34%) Approveda
  • NO: 1,085 (48.66%)[2]
