Jim Fensom

Jim Fensom was a judge of the 14th Judicial Circuit Court in Florida. He was appointed to a newly-created position on the court by former Governor Jeb Bush in December of 2005 (effective Jan. 3, 2006). Fensom was re-elected in 2008 and 2014.[1][2] Fensom retired on December 31, 2018.[3]
Education
Fensom received his B.S. degree from Auburn University in 1972 and his J.D. degree from the Florida State University College of Law in 1975.[1]
Career
Fensom began his career as a prosecutor. After three years in that position, he joined the law firm of Barron & Redding in 1979. He worked there until his appointment to the circuit court in December of 2005.[1]

Primary: He was successful in the primary on August 26, 2014, receiving 51.37 percent of the vote. He competed against Shalene Grover and Gerard M. Virga, Jr..
