Joan Armstrong
Joan Armstrong is a probate and family court associate justice for the Suffolk Probate and Family Court in Suffolk County, Massachusetts.[1] She was nominated to the court by former Governor Deval Patrick on July 23, 2008.[2] Armstrong may serve on the court until she turns the mandatory retirement age of 70.[3]
Education
Armstrong received her undergraduate degree from Drew University and her J.D. from the Suffolk University Law School.[2]
Career
Before she joined the Suffolk Probate and Family Court, Armstrong was a partner at the law firm of Murtha Cullina LLP, where she also served as chair of the Probate and Family Law Department for sixteen years.[2]
