Joe Agris
Joe Agris was a 2012 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. Senate from Texas.
Biography
Agris earned his DDS from Temple Dental. He went on to receive his MD from Albany Medical. Agris was a lieutenant commander for the United States Public Health Services from 1969 to 1971. He previously ran unsuccessfully for election to the Texas House of Representatives in 2008.[1]

Agris ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. Senate, representing Texas. He was defeated by Ted Cruz and David Dewhurst in the Republican primary on May 29, 2012.[2]
