Joe Renner
Joe Renner was a 2015 Republican candidate for District 6 of the Fort Wayne City Council in Indiana. Joe Renner lost the general election on November 3, 2015.
Biography
Renner's professional experience includes working the president of Fluoride Free Fort Wayne, a group working to prevent sodium fluoride from being added to the city's water, and as a waiter at Don Hall’s State Street Prime Rib Restaurant.[1][2]

The city of Fort Wayne, Indiana, held elections for mayor and city council on November 3, 2015. A primary election took place on May 5, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was February 6, 2015. All nine city council seats were up for election.[3]
In the Republican primary election for District 6, Joe Renner ran unopposed. In the Democratic primary, incumbent Glynn A. Hines defeated Robert L. Wafford. Hines defeated Renner in the general election.[4][5]
