John J. Thomas was a bankruptcy judge for the United States bankruptcy court, Middle District of Pennsylvania from 1992 to 2019. His service on the court ended when he passed away on February 7, 2019.[1]

Education

Judge Thomas earned his bachelor's degree from King's College and his J.D. at Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University.[2]

Career

Judge Thomas practiced law for 20 years before his appointment in 1992, and previously served as a trustee. He concentrated his work in the area of bankruptcy law for the last six years of his career before becoming a judge.[3]
