John S. Waters
John S. Waters was an associate circuit court judge for the 38th Circuit Court in Missouri. He began to serve as a judge for the court in 1999 and retired from the bench on December 31, 2014.[1][2][3]
Following the death of Judge Mark Orr, Waters was named the interim presiding judge of the 38th Circuit Court.[4]
Education
Waters received his undergraduate degree from Iowa State University and his J.D. degree from the Drake University Law School.[3]
Career
Before he became a judge, Waters worked as an attorney in private general practice in Ozark, Missouri. He also previously served as a municipal prosecutor for Springfield, Missouri, and worked as an attorney in private and solo practice in Springfield.[3]
