Shawn Blankenship is the superintendent of Jones Public Schools. Blankenship was appointed superintendent in May 2023 and took office on July 1, 2023. Blankenship's career experience includes working as a teacher, site administrator, Athletic Director, Executive Director, and as an Assistant Superintendent.[1][2]

Past superintendents

Carl Johnson was the superintendent of Jones Public Schools. Johnson was appointed superintendent in July 2014 and left office in June 2023. Johnson's previous career experience included working as a high school principal and as a forward observer in the U.S. Army.[3]
