Jose Palacios, Jr.
Jose Palacios, Jr. was appointed to Position 1 on the Aldine Independent School Board of Education in August 2013 after it was vacated by retired member Marine Jones. He lost election to challenger Patricia Ann Bourgeois on November 5, 2013.
Biography
Palacios is a 30-year resident of the Aldine community. He and his wife Mary have six children, four of whom graduated from Aldine ISD and two who were enrolled in the district at the time of his tenure. Palacios is an active parent at Davis High School where he has served as an assistant to the Parent Teacher Organization president and is a strong supporter of the Davis ROTC program. Palacios is employed by Marek Brothers Construction where he serves as a workforce developer, recruiter and trainer.[1]
