Joseph S. Berman
Joseph S. Berman was a nominee to the position of associate justice on the Massachusetts Superior Court. He was nominated by Governor Deval Patrick on October 29, 2013. At a meeting of the Governor's Council on November 20, 2013, a vote was taken and Berman's nomination was not confirmed on that date.[1] Another vote was taken in March 2014, and the council deadlocked on a 4-4 vote, which led to the rejection of Berman's nomination.[2]
Education
Berman earned an undergraduate degree in 1986, from Dartmouth College. He was awarded a J.D. from The University of Michigan Law School in 1990.[3]
