Karen S. Jennemann was a federal bankruptcy judge for the United States bankruptcy court, Middle District of Florida. She also served as a judge on the United States bankruptcy court, Northern District of Florida. She was appointed to the court in November of 1993 and was the first female judge appointed to the Middle District of Florida bankruptcy court.[1][2][3][4] She retired from the court in February 2022.[5]

Biography

Education

Jennemann received her undergraduate degree from Northern Arizona University and her J.D. from the Marshall Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary.[6][3]

Career

Before joining the court, Jennemann was a shareholder with the firm Mahoney Adams & Criser, P.A. and an associate with the firm Smith Hulsey & Busey. After receiving her law degree, Jennemann was a law clerk for Judge Robert Doumar.[3]
