Kay Woods
Kay Woods is a former bankruptcy judge for the United States bankruptcy court, Northern District of Ohio. She joined the court on Monday, August 16, 2004, and retired on July 6, 2018.[1][2]
Education
Judge Woods earned a bachelor's degree from Bowling Green State University and a J.D. from Ohio State University.[3]
Career
Prior to her appointment as a judge, Woods began her legal career as an associate at Jones Day in Cleveland, Ohio. She later moved in-house to serve as counsel for the LTV Steel Corporation, where she was involved with the company's bankruptcy and subsequent sale.[1][4]
