Kay Woods is a former bankruptcy judge for the United States bankruptcy court, Northern District of Ohio. She joined the court on Monday, August 16, 2004, and retired on July 6, 2018.

Education

Judge Woods earned a bachelor's degree from Bowling Green State University and a J.D. from Ohio State University.

Career

Prior to her appointment as a judge, Woods began her legal career as an associate at Jones Day in Cleveland, Ohio. She later moved in-house to serve as counsel for the LTV Steel Corporation, where she was involved with the company's bankruptcy and subsequent sale.
