Kevelighan ran for election to the 48th District Court.
General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 31.8 percent of the vote. He competed against Kimberly Small. [1] 

Education

Kevelighan received a B.S. from Michigan State University and a J.D. degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.[2]

Career

Kevelighan has been a partner of the firm Kevelighan & Kevelighan, P.C. with his wife, Tracey Cooley Kevelighan, since 2000. From 2000 to 2008, he also practiced law with his father. Kevelighan also previously served as a clerk to Judge Michael Martone.[2]
