Kevin M. Dillon
Kevin M. Dillon was a justice of the Erie County Supreme Court in the 8th Judicial District of New York. He was elected to the position in 1997 and was re-elected in 2010.[1]
Dillon, who had Parkinson's disease, retired in 2013 due to declining health.[2] He died in January 2016 at the age of 65.[3]
Education
Dillon graduated from Canisius College in 1968 and from Villanova University in 1972. He then received his J.D. degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law in 1976.[1][4]
Career
Dillon worked for twelve years as a private practice attorney and for nine years as the Erie County District Attorney. He has also taught as an adjunct professor at the SUNY at Buffalo Law School since 1992. He was first elected to the Supreme Court in 1997.
2010 election
Judge Dillon successfully ran for re-election to the Supreme Court in 2010.[1]
