Kimbrell Kelly Tucker
Kimbrell Kelly Tucker is a former district court judge for the 12th Judicial District, which presides over Cumberland County in North Carolina.[1] She was appointed to the court by former Governor Jim Hunt in 1997 and was re-elected to the court in November 2010 for another four-year term that would have expired in 2014.[2] However, Tucker resigned from her seat on the court to serve as the next Cumberland County Clerk of Court, starting on November 1, 2013.[3]
Education
Tucker received her undergraduate degree from Presbyterian College and her J.D. from the Campbell University School of Law.[4]
Career
Before she joined the court, Tucker practiced law in Fayetteville, North Carolina for three years and served as a court administrator for the Cumberland County courts for five years.
2010 election
Tucker was re-elected to the 12th Judicial District after running unopposed.[5]
