Kirt Slaugh is the former acting Utah Treasurer. He was appointed by Gov. Spencer Cox (R) on May 3, 2021, to replace David Damschen (R).[1]

He left office in June 2021 when Marlo Oaks (R) was appointed to serve until the 2022 November election.[2]

Biography

Kirt Slaugh earned a bachelor's degree from Utah State University in 1999 and a master's degree from the University of Utah in 2002. Slaugh's career experience includes working as the chief deputy state treasurer of the State of Utah, a senior sales manager with KeyBank, and the treasury operations manager with Intermountain Healthcare.[3]
