The Kotzebue Government Ownership of A Liquor Store Proposition was on the October 6, 2009 ballot ballot in Northwest Arctic Borough.

The question on the ballot was whether or not governments should own and operate local liquor stores and whether or not all local alcohol should be put through one local distribution center. Kotzebue is one of a few 'damp' cities in the area, BethelBorough also had a similar issue about alcohol distribution on their ballot as well.[2]
