Laura Allen (Texas judicial candidate)
Laura Allen was the judge on the Val Verde County Court in Texas. She was elected in 2010, but lost re-election in 2014.[1][2][3]

Allen ran for election to the Val Verde County Court.
Primary: She was successful in the Republican primary on March 4, 2014, defeating Robert Trullender and Robert C. Overfelt.
General: She was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, by Efrain V. Valdez.[2][4][3][5]
2010
Allen won the Republican primary election for the Val Verde County Court. She defeated Mike L. Fernandez and Alice E. Araujo in the general election.[6][7]
Education
Allen earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Phoenix.[1]
Career
Prior to joining the court in 2010, Allen served as a county commissioner in Val Verde from 2001 to 2004.[8]
