Lee L. Gabriel (California)
Lee L. Gabriel is a judge of the Superior Court of Orange County in California. He assumed office in 2020. His current term ends on January 8, 2029.
Gabriel won re-election for judge of the Superior Court of Orange County in California outright in the primary on June 7, 2022, after the primary and general election were canceled.
Governor Gavin Newsom (D) appointed Gabriel to the court on November 13, 2020, to replace David R. Chaffee.[1]
Although California Superior Court judges are elected in nonpartisan elections, a press release from Gov. Newsom's office announcing Gabriel's appointment on November 13, 2020, identified him as a Democrat.[1]
