Local population figures released to New Mexico for redistricting

SANTA FE, New Mexico:
Yesterday the Census Bureau shipped New Mexico's local census data to the governor and legislative leaders. This data will guide redistricting for state and local offices.
The data is publicly available for downloading.[1]
The tables below display change in population in the five largest incorporated places and counties in New Mexico from 2000-2010.[2]

A bill to create the redistricting committee passed the House on February 24 and has since moved to the Senate. The vote was 35-32 with 1 absent and 2 excused.[3]
Senate and House leaders will be drawing 3 Congressional districts, 42 Senate districts, and 70 House districts.
