Lolita Ferrin
Lolita Ferrin was a 2014 Independence Party candidate seeking election to the U.S. House to represent the 10th Congressional District of New York.[1] Although she filed with the New York Board of Elections, the board found her petition invalid, preventing her from running in the primary.[1]

Ferrin planned to run in the 2014 election for the U.S. House to represent New York's 10th District. Ferrin sought the Independence Party nomination in the primary on June 24, 2014, but the New York Board of Elections rejected her petition as invalid, taking her off of the ballot for the primary.
