Lon Hurwitz is a judge of the Superior Court of Orange County in California. He assumed office in 2010. His current term ends on January 8, 2029.

Hurwitz won re-election for judge of the Superior Court of Orange County in California outright in the primary on June 7, 2022, after the primary and general election were canceled.

Hurwitz was elected to the bench in June 2010 to a term beginning in January 2011. However, in December 2010, former governor Arnold Schwarzenegger appointed Hurwitz to the bench which allowed him to immediately assume his judicial position. Hurwitz succeeded Randell L. Wilkinson.[1][2]
