A London City Library Levy Replacement measure was on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the London City library district area which is in Madison County.

This measure sought to replace the current library levy with one set at a rate of $.12 per $100 of assessed property value for a period of five years in order to further pay for current expenses in the library district.[2]

Text of measure

The question on the ballot:

A replacement of a tax for the benefit of the London Public Library for the purpose of CURRENT EXPENSES at a rate not exceeding one and two-tenths (1.2) mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to twelve cents ($0.12) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for five (5) years, commencing in 2011, first due in calendar year 2012.[3]
