London City Library Levy Replacement (November 2011)
A London City Library Levy Replacement measure was on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the London City library district area which is in Madison County.

- YES 3,220 (67.92%)
- NO 1,521 (32.08%)[1]
This measure sought to replace the current library levy with one set at a rate of $.12 per $100 of assessed property value for a period of five years in order to further pay for current expenses in the library district.[2]
Text of measure
The question on the ballot:
A replacement of a tax for the benefit of the London Public Library for the purpose of CURRENT EXPENSES at a rate not exceeding one and two-tenths (1.2) mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to twelve cents ($0.12) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for five (5) years, commencing in 2011, first due in calendar year 2012.[3] |
