Lori Marran
Lori Marran ran for the Livingston County Probate Court in 2012.
Education
Marran received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan. She earned her J.D. from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School.[1]
Career
Marran was an attorney in private practice from 1990 to 2004, specializing in probate, juvenile, family, and adoption law. She has worked for the Livingston County Circuit Court since 2004. Marran was the Probate and Juvenile Court Administrator for Livingston County from 2007 to 2009. Currently, she is an Attorney Referee for the family division, and presides over custody, parenting time, and child support hearings.[1]
2012 election
Marran was defeated by Miriam Cavanaugh in the general election on November 6, receiving 48.23% of the vote.[2][3]
