The Louisiana Law Effective Date Amendment, also known as Amendment 4, was on the ballot in Louisiana on October 3, 1992, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. It proposed that all laws approved in a legislative session become effective on August 15 rather than 60 days following the end of the session.[1][2]
