A Madison Library District Levy Addition measure was on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the Madison library district area which is in Lake County.

This measure sought to add to the current library levy by a rate of $.12 per $100 of assessed property value for a continuing period of time in order to continue to further pay for current expenses in the library district.[2]

Text of measure

The question on the ballot:

An additional of a tax for the benefit of Madison Public Library for the purpose of current expenses at a rate not exceeding 1.25 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to 12.5 cents for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for a continuing period of time, commencing in 2011, first due in calendar year 2012.[3]
