A Manteca Unified School District Bond Issue, Measure G ballot question was on the November 4, 2014 election ballot for voters in the Manteca Unified School District in San Joaquin County, California. It was approved.

Measure G authorized the district to increase its debt by $159 million through issuing general obligation bonds in that amount. It also authorized the district to levy additional property taxes to repay these bonds.[1]

A 55 percent supermajority vote was required for the approval of Measure G.

Ballot question

The question on the ballot:[1]

To upgrade classrooms to meet modern academic, technology and safety standards; repair faulty electrical systems, air conditioning, leaky roofs, plumbing and restrooms; improve fire safety systems and school security; remove asbestos and lead paint; and repair, construct, and acquire educational facilities and equipment, shall the Manteca Unified School District issue $159 million of bonds at legal interest rates, with citizen oversight, annual independent audits, and no money for administrators’ salaries or pensions?[2]
