Marcus Z. Shar is an associate judge on the Eighth Circuit Court for Baltimore City in Maryland. He has served as a judge on the court since September 4, 2008 and was elected on November 2, 2010 to a full fifteen-year term, ending in 2025.[1][2][3][4]

Shar received his undergraduate degree in history from the Ohio State University in 1973 and his J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law in 1976.[1]
