Mark Myers (Alaska)
Mark Myers is a former Alaska Commissioner of Natural Resources. He was appointed by Governor Bill Walker (I) in December 2014.[1] On February 16, 2016, Myers announced his retirement for personal reasons; he stepped down on March 1.[2]

Career
Myers served as a pilot and intelligence officer in the Air National Guard and U.S. Air Force Reserve after graduation from college. Prior to his appointment, he served as the director of the U.S. Geological Survey and the vice chancellor of research at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.[3]
