Marty Rowley
Marty Rowley (Republican Party) was a member of the Texas State Board of Education, representing District 15. Rowley assumed office in 2013. Rowley left office on January 1, 2021.
Biography
Before he was elected to the board, Rowley had served for more than 20 years as an attorney and had spent seven years as a pastor. Rowley has served as chairman of the Amarillo Chambers of Commerce's Government Affairs Council and as the president of the West Texas chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates.[1]

Political career

Rowley was first elected to the board in November 2012 and took office in January 2013. On January 31, 2017, Rowley was elected to a two-year term as the board's vice-chair.[2] He did not file for re-election in 2020.
