Nikki Woodson is the superintendent of the Metropolitan School District of Washington Township. Woodson was appointed superintendent in May 2011. Woodson's previous career experience includes working as a special education program manager, principal, and director of staff development.[1]

Public participation in board meetings

The Metropolitan School District of Washington Township school board maintains the following policy on public testimony during board meetings:[2]

Public Comment

The Board will allow a member of the public who is physically present at the meeting location to provide oral public comment, unless the meeting is during a disaster emergency, pursuant to reasonable rules, including but not limited to limits on the amount of time for public comment, governing public comment at a meeting. Public comment will be invited before the Board takes final action on any agenda item. The Board may also take reasonable steps to maintain order, including but not limited to removing any person who is willfully disruptive of the meeting. [3]
