Michael Albis

Michael Albis is a judge for the Hartford District Superior Court in Connecticut.[1] He was nominated by Governor Dannel P. Malloy and confirmed by the legislature on March 6, 2013. His current term expires in 2021.[2]
Education
Albis earned his undergraduate degree from Yale University and his J.D. from the University of Connecticut.[3]
Career
Prior to joining the court, Albis was a principal at the law firm of Hilcoff & Albis, LLC.[3]

Judge Albis ran against Judge Michael Brandt for election to the new East Haven-North Haven Probate District on November 2, 2010.[4] Brandt won with 9,511 of the votes compared to Albis' 8,454.[5] This new district replaced the East Haven Probate District in 2011.[6]
