Michele Petty was a 2014 candidate for the 224th District Court in Bexar County, Texas.[1] She was previously a candidate for the Texas Supreme Court in 2012.[2]

Petty ran for election to the 224th District Court.
Primary: She was defeated in the Democratic primary on March 4, 2014, receiving 49.0 percent of the vote. She competed against Lauro Bustamante. [1][3][4]

2010

Petty was defeated by incumbent Justice Nathan Hecht in the November 6, 2012 general election for the Texas Supreme Court. She received 41.9% of the vote.[5] Other candidates included Mark Ash and Jim Chisholm.[2][6]
