Issues

Miller listed the following issues on her campaign website:

CREATE EFFECTIVE AND EFFICIENT PARTNERSHIPS

I have listened to several of your concerns and I know that you desire a Commissioner that actively listens and cares about the prosperity of your business. I truly believe that it is my duty to prepare a landscape so that you can flourish and succeed in your industry. Together, we can rebuild an effective and efficient partnership based on fairness, shared values, common goals, and mutual understanding.

PROVIDE GREATER TRANSPARENCY

As a shareholder in the PSC, it is critical for you to know what decisions the PSC has made and how it will affect you. Once elected, I promise that I will provide a monthly report presenting unbiased facts of the cases we are overseeing. I feel this will help keep you informed and strengthen our partnership.

DEVELOP EDUCATIONAL AND ENERGY SAVINGS INITIATIVES

Having reliable and inexpensive energy is only one part of the solution. We must learn, not only, how to minimize the price we pay for energy but to maximize the efficiency of how we consume that energy. Once elected, I would create an energy savings initiative within each county. I would establish partnerships with businesses, power providers, and government officials, so that every resident can be a well-informed consumer.

BEING AN ETHICAL ROLE MODEL AND LEADING BY EXAMPLE

I am, simply, a public servant. I have dedicated my life to finding solutions and helping to foster positive change. In this era of apathy, we need a renewal of hope, courage, and conservatism. It is time that we raise the bar on ethics, leadership, and accountability. It is incredibly important that I spend my time doing the people's work and watching over the people's money. As an elected official, it is important to give back to Georgia communities. I plan on being an active mentor working with Georgia's' youth and establishing a scholarship program for our young people who want to pursue a career in Energy, Natural gas, or Telecommunications.[3][4]
