The Minnesota Extend Congressional Terms Amendment, also known as Amendment 2, was on the November 4, 1873 ballot in Minnesota as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was defeated. The measure would have extended the terms of representatives to two years and terms of senators to four years.[1]
