The Minnesota Process for Amending the Constitution Amendment, also known as Amendment 2, was on the November 8, 1898 ballot in Minnesota as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure altered the process for amending the Constitution to require a majority of all voters to vote "yes" on an amendment, effectively making it more difficult to pass amendments.[1]
