The Minnesota Safekeeping of Public Funds Amendment, also known as Amendment 4, was on the November 4, 1873 ballot in Minnesota as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure authorized the legislature to pass laws for the safekeeping, transfer and disbursement of state and school funds.
