The Mississippi Poll Tax, Amendment 3, also known as Amendment 3, was on the 1975 ballot in Mississippi as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The amendment proposed that the constitution be amended. The amendment proposed that the poll tax be eliminated.[1]
