The Mississippi U.S. Senate Appointments, Amendment 6, also known as Amendment 6, was on the ballot in Mississippi on November 6, 1990, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The amendment proposed that the constitution be amended via Senate Concurrent Resolution No. 528. The amendment proposed that the provisions authorizing the state legislature to appoint U.S. Senators and the legislature to appoint presidential electors be removed.[1]
